POWER to Swear In New Leadership Ahead of Major Chand Raat Community Event in Long Island

The Pak-America Organization for Workers Education & Their Fundamental Rights (POWER) will administer the oath of office to its newly appointed team of office bearers on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place at Mehfil Restaurant, located at 46 W. Old Country Road in Hicksville, New York. Attendance is by invitation only.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held ahead of POWER’s upcoming Chand Raat community event in Nassau County. The program will formally introduce the new leadership team and outline the organization’s strategic initiatives for the year ahead. VIP guests, elected officials, community leaders, and members of the media are expected to attend.
POWER is a nonprofit organization focused on women’s empowerment, mental health awareness, charitable relief, and hunger prevention. Through community outreach programs, the organization supports vulnerable families, promotes mental wellness, advances opportunities for women, and provides food and essential assistance to those in need across Long Island and beyond.
