Community First Republican Club Held General Meeting in Brooklyn,
Highlighted Election Preparations and Community Activities
BROOKLYN, New York: The Community First Republican Club (CFRC) held its general meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, bringing together club members, Republican elected officials, candidates, supporters and community participants in Brooklyn.
The meeting was held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 2101 East 16th Street, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, New York, near Avenue U. The gathering focused on upcoming political activities, campaign updates and preparations for Election Day, which was scheduled for November 3.
During the meeting, Republican elected officials and candidates addressed attendees and discussed current campaign developments. Participants also received updates concerning upcoming events and activities planned by the club as the election season progressed.
The program also included a discussion of campaign news and community activities. Organizers emphasized the continued involvement of CFRC members, noting that club members had remained active during the summer break by supporting endorsed candidates and participating in community initiatives.
The meeting also highlighted the club’s recent activities. Photographs featured members and supporters participating in the Brighton Jubilee, as well as an event commemorating 250 Years of America with the Brooklyn GOP. These activities reflected the organization’s continued participation in local community and civic events.
Kosher refreshments were also served during the gathering, with catering provided by Meisner’s Kosher Catering.
Club members welcomed Brooklyn GOP Chair Liam McCabe, Assemblymen Alec Brook-Krasny and Misha Novakhov , Republican candidate for Civil Court judge in Southern Brooklyn Ethan Harris and NYS Senate candidate Ruslan Shamal (Staten Island – Southern Brooklyn), Daniel Maio, Republican candidate for Senate in Central Queens, Edwina Herrera, candidate for Westchester County legislature, Michelle Alleyene, an officer of Distinguished Women of September 11, and many other Republican activists.
The message of the evening was urgent and unmistakable – with two months left till November 3rd Election Day, New Yorkers can’t be complacent. Every vote, every dollar, every phone call or text message for our common sense Republican candidates are critical. Club President, former Councilman Ari Kagan said, “We care a lot about public safety and quality of life, growing utility bills & homelessness crisis, future of our next generation. The time for action is NOW!”
The meeting concluded with organizers thanking members and supporters for remaining connected with the Community First Republican Club and for their continued participation in its activities.
