Colorful “Basant Festival” to Be Held in Atlantic City on September 20

A colorful “Basant Festival” will be held in Atlantic City on September 20 to celebrate Pakistani and South Asian culture, the spirit of spring, and community festivities. The event is being organized by Malik Suleman in collaboration with the Multicultural Department of Atlantic City, with a variety of cultural activities planned for attendees.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the Basant Festival is to bring different communities together on one platform and promote cultural harmony through music, food, entertainment, and family-oriented activities. Kite flying will be one of the main attractions of the festival, while the event will also feature live music, cultural performances, and food stalls offering a variety of cuisines.
Malik Suleman said that the Basant Festival would provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joys of spring, colorful cultural traditions, and community interaction. He expressed hope that a large number of families from Atlantic City and surrounding areas would attend the event and add to the festivities.
The event will be family-friendly and free of charge, offering a range of recreational and cultural activities for children, young people, and families.
The Basant Festival will be held on September 20, 2026, at Bader Field, 545 Albany Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Organizers have warmly invited community members and families to participate in the festival in large numbers.
