Welcome Care, Inc., a licensed home health care agency with more than 22 years of experience, hosted its first-ever Community Health Fair aimed at providing valuable healthcare information, resources, and support services to local residents. The event took place on Sunday, June 14, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at 2336 86th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11214.

The community-focused event brought together healthcare professionals, insurance representatives, and home care specialists to help residents better understand available healthcare services and benefits. Representatives from Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) health insurance programs were present to provide information and answer questions regarding healthcare coverage and long-term care options.

According to the organizers, Welcome Care’s staff members and administrators were available throughout the event to address community concerns and provide guidance on home healthcare services. Attendees also received the latest information regarding home care programs for senior citizens and children with autism.

A Medicaid specialist was on-site to offer free consultations and assist individuals seeking information about eligibility, benefits, and available healthcare programs. In addition, licensed medical professionals conducted free health screenings for participants, promoting preventive healthcare and wellness within the community.

The event featured multilingual staff members to ensure effective communication and assistance for residents from diverse backgrounds. Home attendants and caregivers were also encouraged to attend and learn more about available resources and professional support services.
