Dr. Athar Mujtaba Honored with Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Preceptor of the Year Award

NEW JERSEY: Dr. Athar Mujtaba, Director of Mujtaba Clinics in New Jersey and New York, has been named Preceptor of the Year by Fairleigh Dickinson University in recognition of his outstanding contributions to graduate clinical education during the Spring 2026 semester.
The award honors Dr. Mujtaba’s dedication to mentoring graduate healthcare students and his commitment to advancing excellence in clinical education. A specialist in Family Practice and Endocrinology, he has built a distinguished career combining patient care, academic leadership, and medical research.
Dr. Mujtaba has received advanced professional training from internationally respected institutions, including Duke University and the University of Edinburgh. Throughout his career, he has remained actively involved in educating future healthcare professionals while maintaining a strong focus on evidence-based clinical practice.
In addition to serving as a clinical preceptor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Mujtaba mentors graduate and doctoral students at the State University of New York (SUNY) and Pace University. His work has helped prepare aspiring healthcare professionals in primary care, clinical research, and advanced patient management.
Beyond academia, Dr. Mujtaba is internationally recognized for his expertise in regenerative medicine and medical aesthetics. He has presented research on stem cell therapies, regenerative aesthetics, and biologic treatments at physician conferences and has led educational programs for medical professionals, including physician training initiatives sponsored by Venus Aesthetics. He continues to contribute to physician education through international seminars and advanced clinical training programs.
