Michael “Misha” Novakhov is a New York State Assemblymember representing the 45th Assembly District, which includes parts of Southern Brooklyn, including Sheepshead Bay, Midwood, Manhattan Beach, Gravesend and Brighton Beach. He was elected to the Assembly on November 8, 2022, and began serving in 2023.
