PM Shehbaz addresses UN General Assembly 79th session

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is addressing the 79th Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in New York.

The prime minister, who is on a five-day visit to the US, is addressing the plenary meeting for the UN General Debate as the second speaker of the session being held today. “Its an honour for me to address the United Nations General Assembly for the second time as the prime minister of the country that has always been the proactive member of the UN Assembly,” the premier said in his opening remarks.
