Empowering the Underserved through Resources, Opportunities, and Partnerships
UA3 is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2015 with a vision of making a positive impact and lasting improvements in the underserved segments of our communities. We do this by channeling needed resources for the betterment of those in need, supporting the creation of socio-economic opportunities, youth empowerment, education, and promotion of health, social and mental wellbeing for our community members.
We work with public and private sectors, educational institutions, and community social and service organizations to achieve our goals. We value collaboration, diversity, innovation, and integrity in what we do.
Community First Food Pantry
Our Community First Food Pantry was started as a response to the pandemic to address food insecurity in New York City. We provide fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate food, as well as PPEs to our community members in need, regardless of their income, background, or circumstances. We also offer programs such as nutrition education, cooking classes, youth leadership development opportunities as well as referrals to other resources that can help our clients achieve greater wellbeing. Our Food Pantry is more than just a place to receive food; it is a community of caring and compassion that welcomes everyone with dignity and respect.
