NYC Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit Newsletter

Dear Fellow New Yorker,
As summer comes to a close, I hope everyone is enjoying these final days and preparing for the upcoming school year. Last Thursday, I was honored to attend the Ukrainian Flag Raising ceremony and help celebrate New York City’s proud Ukrainian community. That evening, CAU’s Deputy Commissioner David Louis delivered remarks at Haitian Heritage Night at Gracie Mansion. The reception highlighted cultural diversity, fostered mutual understanding, and strengthened the ties between New York City and the Haitian community. Benefits on Your Block is taking a brief pause this week, but will return bigger than ever in Crown Heights. For more information about Benefits on Your Block and a full list of upcoming events, please visit: nyc.gov/benefits-on-your-block. For the latest updates, follow CAU on Twitter and Facebook,All the best,
