NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem Opens $10M Orthopedic and Podiatry Clinic to Expand Musculoskeletal Care

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem has unveiled a newly constructed $10 million Orthopedic and Podiatry Clinic aimed at expanding access to comprehensive, patient-centered musculoskeletal care in the Harlem community.

Located at 506 Lenox Avenue, the state-of-the-art facility was purposefully redesigned to meet the complex needs of orthopedic and podiatry patients. Hospital officials said the new clinic strengthens coordinated care services while enhancing patient comfort, mobility, and safety.

The modernized space includes nine fully equipped exam rooms featuring high-low exam tables, including bariatric tables to better accommodate patients of all sizes. Each room is outfitted with ergonomic provider workstations to streamline care delivery and improve efficiency. The waiting area has also been redesigned with higher-seated chairs to make sitting and standing easier for patients with mobility challenges.

Hospital leaders say the investment reflects a continued commitment to improving access to high-quality specialty care for Harlem residents, ensuring that patients can receive advanced orthopedic and podiatric treatment close to home.
