NEW YORK : Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal has been elected as the new President of the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC), following the organization’s biannual election. The new executive team includes Nadeem Akhtar as Vice President, Naeem Chaudhry as General Secretary, Faisal Khan as Treasurer, and Aurangzeb Pirzada as Member-at-Large. APPAC Chairman Dr. Ejaz extended warm congratulations to the newly elected officials.
The executive team will formally assume their responsibilities in January, marking the start of their two-year term. APPAC continues its commitment to empowering the Pakistani-American community and advocating on key issues impacting the diaspora across the United States.
