NEW YORK : The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, received Mr. Dadhi Ram Bhandari, the newly appointed Consul General of Nepal in New York, at the Consulate General of Pakistan.

During the meeting, the two Consuls General exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and discussed avenues for strengthening cooperation between the Consulates of Pakistan and Nepal in New York. The Consul General of Pakistan extended warm congratulations to Mr. Bhandari on his recent assumption of office and expressed the hope that his tenure would further contribute to enhancing friendly ties and people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Nepal.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the longstanding bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation that exist between Pakistan and Nepal. They also agreed to work closely within the diplomatic community in New York to promote shared interests and foster greater understanding among the South Asian diaspora.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of traditional courtesies and a shared resolve to continue collaboration for the benefit of both countries.
