American Chinese Commerce Association , Assemblyman Lester Chang celebrate Americas 250th Anniversary in a historical way

Event, organized in collaboration with the American Chinese Commerce Association, highlighted national unity, freedom, and multicultural harmony

A prestigious and grand celebration marking the 250th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States (Semiquincentennial) was held at The Grand Royal Palace in Brooklyn under the hostship of New York State Assemblyman Lester Chang, in collaboration with the American Chinese Commerce Association. The event brought together a large number of distinguished personalities, business leaders, community activists, military officers, retired service members, and representatives of diverse ethnic, religious, and cultural communities.

The ceremony commenced with the singing of the United States National Anthem, followed by a salute to the American flag. Speakers reflected on America’s 250-year journey of independence, emphasizing the nation’s democratic values, constitutional principles, religious freedom, and national unity. They noted that the country’s remarkable progress has been made possible through the collective contributions of people from diverse nationalities, languages, and cultures, and that this diversity remains one of America’s greatest strengths.

Addressing the gathering, New York State Assemblyman Lester Chang stated that the 250th anniversary of American independence is not only a historic milestone but also an opportunity to renew the nation’s commitment to the enduring principles of liberty, equality, justice, and democracy upon which the United States was founded. The event was attended by active-duty and retired military personnel wearing their formal service uniforms, while other guests appeared in business attire.
