NEW YORK : The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, attended and addressed a fundraising event hosted by MDQ Academy, a leading Islamic educational institution on Long Island. The event brought together community leaders, educators, parents, and supporters in a collective effort to advance the school’s educational and developmental goals.

In his remarks as Chief Guest, Mr. Atozai commended the Academy for its steadfast commitment to academic excellence, moral development, and the nurturing of future leaders within the Pakistani-American and broader Muslim communities. He appreciated the school’s leadership for creating an inclusive, values-driven learning environment that combines strong academics with Islamic teachings.

“MDQ Academy is a shining example of what can be achieved when community vision, educational ambition, and spiritual integrity come together,” said Mr. Atozai. “The Academy is playing a vital role in shaping responsible, confident, and value-oriented young citizens of tomorrow.”

The fundraiser, held at the Academy’s newly expanded campus in Commack, highlighted the institution’s achievements, future expansion plans, and ongoing need for community support to sustain its mission of providing holistic education from Pre-K through Grade 12.

Founded in 2003, MDQ Academy is the first full-time Islamic school in Suffolk County, New York. It continues to serve as a cornerstone for faith-based education and cultural identity for Muslim families across Long Island.
