Brooklyn, NY (Manzoor Hussain) The Bridge Multicultural Advocacy Project (MCP) organized its Annual “Unity in Action” Holiday Celebration on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 1894 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11210. The event aims to celebrate love, unity, & harmony within diverse communities. The evening feature live music, hot gourmet Kosher and Halal food & the presence of community leaders and politicians. A major highlight of the program was the Awards Ceremony, recognizing individuals for their remarkable achievements & unwavering dedication to the community.
This year’s honorees include: Alix Desulme, Mayor of North Miami, Florida. Rodneyse Bichotte, New York State Assembly District 42. Ben Pinczewski, Esq., Community Advocate. Vijah Ramjattan, NYC Mayor’s Office of Hate Crime. Organizers describe the event as an extraordinary evening dedicated to honoring service, leadership, and community unity.Feeling overjoyed as over 300 people joined us at The Annual Gala by The Bridge MCP and Hosted by Annesa Ali Director of Special Projects of The Bridge MCP. Honorees of the event was the Hon Rodneyse Bichotte the The Leader of The Brooklyn Democratic Party Blessing the event with warm and beautiful Prayers were BIshop Ebony Kirkland, Hon Judge Mendy Mirocznik and Hassan Bakiriddin .Program began with the lighting of the Menorah by Community leaders Dr-Sima Karetnaya and Lana GL Honorees were Rodneyse Bichotte, New York State Assembly ,Mayor of North Miami Dr Alix Desulme Emotions filled the room as Aleks Kuravski and his wife Bassi shared their grief over losing a child over a defective radiator and with Rodneyse Bichotte, New York State Assembly who tragicly lost a child at Birth and resulting in the Passage of two historic Bills THE JONAH Bichotte Covan LAW AND THE BENZI lAW Two important BIlls By Council Member Farah N. Louis and Assembly Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyne which will save many young children from death Event was then held with beautiful Dancing and Music A special thanks to @ Debbie Louis Executive Assistant to Governor Kathy Hocul @ Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office Eric Gonzalez for their warm words of support of so many people of our Empire State and victims of crime and financial abuse,
